Now you can drive and steer our balancing robots!  This is a great addition to the standard Lego NXT balancing kit providing new hardware for new exercises and control design.  This kit can do all standard single axis NXT labs AND dual motor N20 based labs!

The M2V5 is the most capable shield kit we offer.

  Important notes:

This kit uses an Arduino Compatible Mega that has a hardware USB to serial converter.  This eliminates the possibility of erasing the bootloader on the genuine arduino mega in the event that the motors are being driven with low voltage.  This happens more frequently when driving the motors with USB power.  To eliminate this possibility and ensure reliability we only offer this kit with mega with a hardware based USB to serial converter.  If you need a genuine Arduino we can ship the kits with this option, but you should be aware of the risk of driving the motors with low voltage and the risk of erasing the bootloader (it is an easy to fix but requires additional software).
